The NIWA South and East Auckland Science Fair has been running since 1995 and has been an encouragement to many students who have taken up the challenge to investigate areas of the Scientific world which interest them.

Students who are involved attend schools in the Manukau, Eastern Suburbs Papakura and Counties areas.

The organization is managed by a volunteer base of committed individuals. Some are involved in community groups, others are teachers from participating schools.

Financial support for the event is provided through the generous contribution of sponsors.
