This page is to support you in guiding your students through the Science Fair process and aligning activities to the timeline for the fair.

Projects should be started in Term Two and completed at least a week before the registration closing date. Please take note of the important dates on the right of the website.

There are ample science fair websites and school focuses to help steer the students choices. Key scientific skills students projects will be judged against are:

• Scientific thought and understanding
• Originality
• Thoroughness and effort
• Technical and graphic skill
• Presentation

Alert students to the lucrative prize money available, as well as the special prizes.

Entries must be registered before the registration closing date.

Students must register with their own email address and/or a caregiver’s email address and download the Entry Pack. Please ensure students read the information in this pack as it contains vital information and labels for their projects.

Prize Giving

If students are getting an award they will be contacted by the email supplied on their registration. School principals will be sent the details of prize winners from their schools as well. The emails will contain information on the date and location of the ceremony.

Prize giving organisational details will be supplied once they are confirmed.
